Mechanical Analysis Engineer

Environmental Tectonics Corporation, a growing, dynamic US Company located just outside of Philadelphia, PA is seeking a local, experienced Mechanical Analysis Engineer to support our operations. This role supports the product design, manufacturing process validation and continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Support the mechanical engineering department using Inventor, including detailing and light to intermediate level design work, and ANSYS FEA. Identify problems with existing designs and recommend changes. Implement and document approved changes. Provide technical support for electricians and electrical technicians. Verify the operation of sterilizer control systems upon completion. Assist shop floor technicians with assembly questions in the component testing and bench testing of various systems. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree (completed or working towards) in Mechanical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in design, mechanical analysis and/or manufacturing engineering Hands-on experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, NASTRAN, or similar Solid understanding of mechanics of materials, structural analysis, and manufacturing processes Experience interpreting test data and correlating it with simulation results Ability to communicate complex technical findings clearly to non-analysis stakeholders.
