Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a Quality Control Kit Inspector in Oakwood, Ga. In this role, you will be responsible for performing acceptance activities and quality inspections for medical kits and assembly lots in an active industrial warehouse environment. • In a Quality Control Kit Inspector job youll be responsible for: Overseeing in-process verification attributes, final inspection, and release procedures for assembly and manufacturing practices
• Conducting attribute inspection tasks to determine if the kit, its components, or shipping packages are acceptable, and accurately recording the findings
• Reviewing batch records to ensure full compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and reviewing assembly lots for management sign-off
• Manually correcting kits or routing them back to the production team when errors are discovered, while documenting and tracking the mistakes
• Fulfilling all obligations in accordance with the Quality Manual, relevant laws, and internal standards (cGMP, MDD, and SOPs)
• Examining products or goods in accordance with strict quality standards to ensure operations adhere to assembly standards, review specifications, work instructions, and inspection protocols

What youll need:

• 1+ years of experience in quality control and/or manufacturing (experience in a regulated industry like aerospace, medical devices, or CNC machinery is preferred)
• Strong ability to interpret technical specifications, parameters, and work instructions
• Business-level proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking
• Comfort with collaboration tools and software systems (e.g., Microsoft Outlook) and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the working day, bend/stoop, squat, climb heights, and lift/carry/push or pull up to 30 lbs with or without assistance
• Comfort working in a loud industrial warehouse environment near moving mechanical machinery, with potential exposure to heights, temperature changes, and dust

Schedule: Midday schedule, Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm

Pay: $19.00/hour
