Main responsibilities: Assist in overseeing daily Bakery Department operations, ensuring high standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service. Foster a welcoming, customer‑focused environment and resolve customer concerns and special orders. Assist with planning and executing daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand. Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs. Assist in managing department sales, labor, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and shrink goals. Support compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements. Assist with hiring, training, coaching, and developing bakery associates while promoting teamwork and accountability. Perform Bakery Department duties as needed and assume responsibility for department operations in the absence of the Bakery Manager.
