Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of our team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images. You will also perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as required by the facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• Required: Current ARRT certification.
• Required: Valid Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California.
• Required: Advanced certification in CT.
• Required: Fluoroscopy license for California if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Required: BLS certified (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS).
• Required: Experience performing CT, general X?Ray, and fluoroscopy.
• Required: Night shift experience consistent with 12?hour night shifts.
• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• 2 years CT technologist experience preferred.
• Venipuncture certification preferred.

• Schedule pattern: 3x12 night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Standard Job Description

Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues used for diagnosis. Perform a variety of imaging procedures including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy. Accurately follow physician scanning instructions and maintain imaging equipment and patient records according to facility policy.
