CashierWe are seeking a friendly and reliable cashier to join our team at Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.Responsibilities:Greet customers as they enter the storeHandle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a cash registerMaintain accurate cash drawer and ensure proper change is givenScan items and ensure pricing is correctAnswer customer inquiries and provide assistance as neededBag and/or wrap merchandise as requiredKeep the checkout area clean and organizedAssist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory as neededFollow all store policies and proceduresRequirements:Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred but not mandatoryStrong mathematical skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to stand for long periods and lift moderate weightBasic computer skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysA Valid ID is required.Benefits:TeladocMedical, Dental, Vision, insurance401k w/ company matchAdditional benefits may applyPaid time off and HolidaysGoodwill Industries of Northeast Texas is an equal opportunity employer.
