MLR is looking for a Surgical Technician to join our team, where you will be instrumental in supporting surgeons and ensuring a seamless surgical experience. In this role, you will work closely with the surgical team to prepare the operating room, handle surgical instruments, and provide vital assistance during procedures. Your expertise will be essential for delivering safe and effective patient care!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams by providing instruments, sutures, and other necessary materials during procedures.
• Handle specimens and ensure proper labeling and documentation for laboratory analysis.
• Monitor patient conditions and assist in positioning and prepping patients for surgery.
• Clean and sterilize surgical instruments and operating rooms according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
• Proven experience as a Surgical Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, techniques, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
