Medical Technologist

The position requires working night shifts in the blood bank. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a related field. No direct patient contact is required, and BLS certification is not necessary. Staff will train on day shifts for four weeks prior to independent work. Candidates are expected to commit to six-month contracts with weekend and holiday scheduling as required. The role does not involve performing phlebotomy or requiring generalist skills. Compliance with department-specific safety and policy protocols is mandatory. Use of Epic Beaker for LIS systems is required. They will only be covering Blood Bank functions.
