Overview Cardiovascular Technologist travel assignment in Lodi, CA, starting 10/19/2026 for 12 weeks. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,189–$2,399 per week Guaranteed hours: 36.0 per week Contract duration: 12 weeks Shift: 4x10 days (seven-hour start time reflected in notes; typically 10-hour shifts) Start date: 10/19/2026 Facility/work setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital travel assignment Responsibilities Prepare for cardiovascular surgical procedures by establishing and maintaining a sterile field, retracting and passing instruments, supplies, and medications to the surgical team. Scrub open heart and cardiovascular cases as required, solo or with a second scrub, and assist with instrument setup and aseptic technique; perform instrument, sponge, needle, and blade counts with the RN. Maintain equipment and supply inventories, assemble appropriate instrumentation, and ensure orderly sterile fields for expedient case progression. Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia to support successful case flow; assist with data collection and documentation per unit standards. Transport patients and support unit operations; perform routine clerical duties and light housekeeping as needed. Leverage EPIC or similar electronic health record systems for charting and case data when applicable; participate in ongoing team training and open-heart case support as requested. Requirements Licenses/ Certifications: CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or TS-C (Tech in Surgery) — required Certifications: BLS/CPR from an approved provider — required Experience: At least two years of recent field experience; scrub tech experience and open-heart case exposure strongly preferred; ability to scrub CV cases solo or with a second scrub Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s/Technical degree or equivalent preferred Additional: EPIC experience preferred; able to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular OR and able to take call (approximately 50% of the time) Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment 24/7 support for clinical and logistical needs Credentialing assistance and vendor documentation support Access to housing resources and relocation assistance where available Extension opportunities based on performance and staffing needs Nationwide assignments and ongoing placement support Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
