AP/ AR Specialist

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team and help support our financial operations. Position Overview The Accounts Payable Specialist will report directly to the Controller and play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. This position is responsible for managing vendor invoices, maintaining financial records, processing payments, and supporting month-end accounting activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in accounts payable, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including reviewing, coding, and processing invoices Match purchase orders to invoices and verify accuracy Process vendor payments in a timely manner and maintain positive vendor relationships Review and reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Manage company credit card transactions and perform monthly reconciliations Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records Support the Controller with accounting projects and daily financial operations Ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP accounting principles Assist with financial reporting and other accounting functions as needed Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Experience with ServiceTitan and/or Intacct is strongly preferred Proactive problem-solving abilities and strong time management skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and advancement opportunities Why Frymire?
