Police and Emergency Vehicle Technician | Nashville, TN Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $20.00 - 21.00 What you'll do: We are seeking Emergency Vehicle Technicians with strong 12V electrical skills, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to grow with a high-performing team. Prior experience is a plus-but not required. * Assist lead installers with emergency vehicle builds * Remove and reinstall vehicle components (bumpers, seats, trim, lights) * Install push bumpers, cages, lightbars, lock boxes, and interior lights * Perform basic wiring, including crimping, splicing, and setting light patterns * Support fabrication and fitment of custom equipment What you need to be successful: * Solid understanding of 12V electrical systems * Experience using hand tools (sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, impact guns) * Ability to drill, modify brackets, and follow install procedures * Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented * Positive attitude and team player * Experience in a shop setting (vehicle upfit, stereo install, or body shop preferred) * EVT or ASE certification a plus What We Offer: * Hands-on training * Growth and advancement opportunities * Supportive team environment * Ability to make a difference in public safety Why Aebi Schmidt Group?
