Cut, strip, crimp, solder, terminate, and route wires to meet customer and engineering specifications. Install connectors, contacts, splices, backshells, heat-shrink tubing, strain reliefs, and associated hardware. Perform wire routing, lacing, bundling, and harness assembly in accordance with company quality standards. Operate assembly equipment including crimping tools, wire strippers, soldering stations, heat guns, and other hand tools. Conduct continuity, point-to-point, and functional testing using multimeters and harness test equipment. Perform in-process and final inspections to verify workmanship, dimensional accuracy, electrical continuity, and product quality. Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, assembly instructions, and technical documentation. Complete production documentation, work orders, inspection records, and quality paperwork accurately. Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety, quality, ESD, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) control standards. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in electronics, electrical assembly, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of wire harness, cable assembly, or electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, wire lists, assembly schematics, and technical documentation. Experience using crimping tools, wire strippers, soldering equipment, and other electrical assembly tools. Working knowledge of workmanship standards. Basic understanding of electrical principles including continuity, polarity, connector pinouts, and electrical testing. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a production environment. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. xmvmafu Must be eligible to work in the United States.
