Company Values Do The Right Thing | Be Accountable | Never Settle | Win Together Job Summary The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for leading and managing all quality assurance and food safety programs within the food repackaging facility. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and customer requirements including FDA, USDA, HACCP, and SQF standards. The QA Manager will oversee quality systems, sanitation practices, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold product integrity, food safety, and customer satisfaction. A Sample of the Role Develop and maintain food safety and quality programs (HACCP, GMP, SOPs, SSOPs, allergen control). Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, SQF/BRC, and customer requirements through audits, inspections, testing, and documentation. Lead customer, regulatory, and certification audits; manage responses and corrective actions. Track and analyze quality data, non-conformance trends, and root causes; implement CAPAs. Supervise and train QA and sanitation staff to ensure consistent execution of procedures. Work with production, sanitation, and maintenance teams to identify risks and improve processes. Act as primary contact for customer complaints and quality/regulatory issues. Maintain documentation systems for traceability, labeling, specifications, and certifications. Stay updated on food safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices. Lead mock recalls, traceability exercises, and emergency/crisis preparedness activities. Manage supplier quality programs and oversee food defense and food fraud prevention.
