Responsibilities Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly, prompt service at the register or self‑checkout. Suggest additional products to enhance guest purchases. Address guest concerns with urgency and involve managers as needed. Foster a team‑oriented, respectful work environment. Help keep our stores stocked and fresh by ensuring food and beverage items are available and up to quality standards. Maintain cleanliness in food prep areas and follow all safety regulations. Restock shelves, coolers, and display areas as needed. Keep the store clean and organized, completing regular cleaning tasks. Assist in inventory management and restocking. Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately, process transactions, and handle cash and card payments while adhering to cash‑handling policies. Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, escalating issues to the shift manager when appropriate. Maintain adherence to safety protocols when handling chemicals and following food‑safety regulations. Promote promotional food items to increase product engagement. Respond to feedback from guests, teammates, and leaders to enhance performance. Be a reliable team player by arriving on time, supporting teammates, and working effectively with individuals from different backgrounds. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (or in progress). Previous experience in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment is a plus. Team player who takes initiative and enjoys working with people. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending and standing. May be required to obtain and maintain food handler or alcohol server permits, depending on state or local regulations.
