Driver / Operator Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick‑up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education High school diploma or GED. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned. Qualifications Ability to lift and maneuver packages up to and above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communication skills. Neat appearance as customer contact is required. Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations. Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations; non‑covered safety‑sensitive position. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic officials and respond to official inquiries in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance. Pay and Benefits Pay: $23.16 – $34.39 per hour. Compensation is based on experience, market level and location. Benefits include health, vision, and dental insurance; a retirement plan with up to 8% company match; tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year; vacation time; 401(k) plan; and other benefits such as discounts on cell phone service, hotels, rentals, travel and shipping.
