Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Position Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – 13‑week assignment in Page, Arizona. Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical conditions using standardized tests, examinations, and patient history. Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement physical therapy treatment plans using exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain. Operate specialized equipment safely and maintain proper calibration. Assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, body mechanics, injury prevention, and self‑management. Maintain a safe treatment environment in accordance with infection control, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards. Participate in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities. Assist in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions to community or home settings. Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice. Qualifications Valid Physical Therapy license in Arizona. Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC). Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred). Physical therapy experience; new graduates welcome. Other certifications or licenses may be required. Critical thinking and service excellence. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Proficient reading, writing, and verbal communication in English. Basic PC skills. Physical ability to remain stationary, move about, and lift 50–100 lbs, push, pull, and bend. Ability to work effectively with diverse personnel and maintain a professional, positive attitude. Capability to cope with frequent public interaction, meet deadlines under pressure, and work independently as needed. Good visual acuity and effective communication skills.
