Role Overview As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician, you’ll train other Autobody Technicians and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels. Prep Levels Entry‑Level Prepper (minimum 1 year experience): perform light bodywork such as sanding, buffing, bumpers, minor plastic welding, and single‑panel repair. Mid‑Level Prepper (3–5 years experience): perform bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, roof and rocker panel repair, stud welding, and large‑area Bondo repair. Experienced Prepper (minimum 5 years experience): train other technicians and perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels. Other Automotive Roles Auto‑Body: Paint, Prep/Body Work, Wheel Repair, Airbrush, Interior Repair, Glass Repair, PDR (Paintless Dent Repair) Auto Technician/Mechanic: Lube & Oil, Inspection, Brake & Tire, Mechanical Repair/Build, Master Technician Entry‑Level: Detailing, Inventory Associate, Photo, Parts Associate, Inspection, Coordinator/Administrator General Qualifications and Requirements Ability to operate vehicle equipment and tools; must lift up to 60 lb. independently. Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license. Some positions require a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check. Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment, including exposure to varying weather conditions.
