Registered Nurse - Cardiology Laboratory Charge Nurse

Position Overview Provides leadership and coordination in an interventional radiology unit, ensuring quality patient care and effective staffing. Responsibilities include assigning, educating, and monitoring nursing/support staff, developing patient care plans, collaborating with advanced practice providers, evaluating care outcomes, addressing patient care concerns, and participating in hiring and staff development. Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with at least one year of RN experience. Active licensure and certifications required include BLS, ALS or PALS, with specific licensing depending on the state. Skills & Physical Demands Strong communication, leadership, and assessment skills are essential. The role involves constant standing, walking, and frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), along with visual, auditory, and tactile acuity to monitor patient conditions. Key Duties Staff assignment, patient care assessment, collaboration with providers, quality evaluation, complaint resolution, and staff development.
