About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: South Carolina license or Compact license required prior to start Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required; TNCC preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room environment - Ability to float within similar units as per facility needs - Willingness to work every other weekend Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room. The shift will be three 12-hour days from 7 AM to 7 PM. The nurse will have a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4 based on patient acuity. Floating to similar units may be required to meet facility needs. All time off requests must be included at the time of submission. The facility allows for one shift to be called off every two weeks. Candidates must complete required documentation in a timely manner prior to start. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Compliance with all facility requirements prior to starting is mandatory.
