Lab Operations Specialist, Fast Trak Process Development Services (PDS)

Laboratory Operations Specialist role at Cytiva supporting process development and analytical laboratories. Manages inventory, procurement, logistics, and operational excellence initiatives while partnering with scientific teams to optimize laboratory infrastructure and support project execution.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory systems, coordinate capital equipment procurement, and maintain laboratory asset databases
Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, transportation providers, and vendors to optimize workflows and coordinate domestic/international shipping
Develop metrics and dashboards to drive operational excellence using lean principles and 5S/6S methodologies
Support cross-functional teams in planning and executing operational improvement projects with milestone tracking and reporting

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field
Minimum 10 years laboratory operations, coordination, manufacturing support, or logistics experience in biotech/pharma
Proven experience managing procurement, inventory control, and logistics processes
Strong organizational skills managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and inventory/procurement/asset management systems
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Willingness to work in BSL-2 laboratory environments and travel up to 5% domestically/internationally

Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 base; eligible for bonus/incentive pay
