Community/Lay Coach
Paulding County Schools
SCHOOL VOLUNTEER - COMMUNITY COACH QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a community member that possesses advanced knowledge of a certain sport or program based on previous participation or advanced coaching experience.
- Ability to support the Head Coach of the program
- Ability to be an active member of the Athletic Staff
- Build Teamwork/Leadership capacity in student athletes
- Comply with GHSA rules and regulations
- Ability to assist in the functioning of a successful program
- Provide instruction; assess and encourage student progress; manage the learning environment; comply with: state and system level regulations and policies; comply with the rules of the Professional Standards and Commission code of ethics for educators; other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or immediate supervisor.
