Operations Business Analyst

Operations Business AnalystNorthCoast Asset Management, is looking for an Operations Business Analyst to join their team. This role will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Operations and Compliance. The Operations Business Analyst will play a key role in compiling, analyzing, and delivering data and reporting packages for the firm's parent company, third-party business partners, auditors, compliance providers, and senior management. The position will also support billing and revenue reporting processes, provide backup coverage for investment performance reporting, and assist with various operational initiatives. This role is fully in-office out of our Stamford, CT office.Primary ResponsibilitiesCompile, analyze, and prepare data requests for the firm's parent company, senior management, auditors, and third-party business partnersPrepare recurring and ad-hoc reporting packages for internal and external stakeholdersAssist with operational due diligence, audit requests, and compliance reviews by gathering and validating supporting informationSupport compliance initiatives through data collection, reconciliation, documentation, and reportingAssist with client billing processes, fee calculations, accounts receivable tracking, and revenue reportingPrepare and maintain operational and financial reporting dashboards and management reportsCoordinate with parent company finance, accounting, compliance, risk, and internal audit teamsProvide backup support for investment performance reporting, including account-level and composite performance calculations and reportingPerform data reconciliation and quality control reviews to ensure reporting accuracy across systems and custodiansResearch, analyze, and resolve operational issues involving custodians, portfolio accounting systems, client accounts, and third-party providersIdentify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate workflows, and enhance operational efficienciesMaintain documentation for operational procedures, reporting processes, and internal controlsAssist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large data sets and identify trends.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and report preparation.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Interest in investment management, financial services, operations, compliance, or business analytics preferred.This position is an non-exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000 - $65,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
