About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:30 - 20:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Level I Trauma Center License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC Must-Have: - Level I Trauma Center experience - Central line care/management - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Starting and maintaining IVs - Triage experience Description: Position available for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5. Weekend requirements include every other weekend and holiday shifts. No floating between units is required. On-call duties are not required. The facility is a Trauma Level I and teaching hospital. Coordinated care will be supported by an interdisciplinary team including various specialists. Daily patient census ranges from 129 to 160. The unit includes 30 beds and accommodates adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with Cerner Sorian charting system is preferred. Travel experience is required. The candidate must pass a screening to confirm experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
