Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience in the operating room is required. License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse. Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Must-Have: Vascular and endovascular experience required. Must be proficient in main operating room surgeries. EPIC charting experience required. Candidates must be able to take call shifts 1-2 times per week, including nights and weekends. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in vascular and endovascular procedures. The nurse will work in an operating room that handles various specialties including urology, pediatric surgeries, bariatric surgeries, plastics, and some gynecological surgeries. The nurse will need to be familiar with advanced surgical techniques, including robotic surgeries. Candidates should expect to participate in a call rotation, particularly for vascular surgeries. Preferred candidates will have experience in high-volume operating room environments. Good communication skills and the ability to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team are essential. Due to the nature of the service lines, the ability to handle emergency situations is necessary. The role involves a diverse patient population and requires strong clinical skills in perioperative care.
