We love what we do, and we appreciate having the opportunity to be our patients' partner in health..Responsibilities include:Taking vital signs, performing venipuncture, EKG, and vaccine administration.Preparing examination rooms daily, ensuring all supplies, equipment, and instruments are ready.Assisting practitioners with examinations, treatments, and procedures.Documenting all patient communications, refills, and relevant information accurately in charts.Scheduling external appointments and obtaining medication/testing authorizations.Communicating with other caregivers regarding physician orders and patient conditions.Reacting calmly and effectively in emergency situations.Assisting with special projects and adhering to all policies and procedures as assigned by the Practice Manager.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED.Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.COVID-19 vaccinated.Experience with an Electronic Medical Record program (Epic preferred).Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.This is a full-time position with pay ranging from $20.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience.If you are interested in this opportunity or know someone who might be a good fit, please contact me at your earliest convenience.Best regards,Anne Roche
