TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Beaufort, South Carolina, 29902!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of PCU/stepdown/ICU experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must be comfortable floating between ICU, PCU, and MedSurg units - Must not live within 50 miles of the facility - Travel experience preferred Description: This is a stepdown role that frequently floats to ICU and MedSurg units. Travelers must have ICU experience as well as experience in PCU. Ratios are as follows: Stepdown 1:4-5; ICU 1:2; MedSurg 1:5-6. Floating is required across stepdown, ICU, and MedSurg units. Valid SC license is required at the time of submission. ACLS and BLS certifications are required. NIHSS certification is required. Patient ratios for days are 4 and for nights are 5. Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation. This facility has high patient care ratios and significant floating. Only one facility will be utilized for floating. Policies on floating comply with current standards, including orientation to new units. Skills required include managing various medical equipment, administering cardiovascular medications, and caring for patients with diverse conditions. Experience in charting systems, specifically Meditech, is preferred but not mandatory for all positions.
