What You'll Do Attend training regarding applicable equipment Perform additional duties as needed Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition Mentor and train team members on proper equipment use Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and uphold the CMC Safety Culture Serve as the leadman in his/her absence, as necessary Operate rebar fabrication equipment, including shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, threaders, forging, welders, etc. What You'll Need Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions Able and willing to cross-train as required Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits Ability to work as a team in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and root-cause analysis Ability to operate fabrication machines safely without supervision Able to stand for long periods Able to work overtime as needed Minimum 3 years preferably in a heavy industrial environment Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work outside in all weather conditions Must be able to read technical documents and service manuals Must be able to write job instructional training documents Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work overtime for planned or emergency situations Must possess work ethic and punctuality Your Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred We are CMC, a Fortune 500 company at the leading edge of our industry.
