Provides specialized nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring safe and effective obstetric, postpartum, and neonatal services during night shifts. Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
- Implement and manage nursing interventions to support childbirth and postpartum recovery.
- Educate patients and their families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and neonatal care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in adherence to healthcare standards and protocols.
- Respond promptly to any obstetric emergencies and provide advanced nursing support as needed.
- Hold an active Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Possess recent experience in Labor and Delivery or obstetric nursing.
- Demonstrate competency in fetal monitoring, neonatal resuscitation, and obstetric emergencies.
- Be CPR and NRP certified.
- Display excellent communication, critical thinking, and compassionate patient interaction skills.
