Resident Assistant

Pay or shift range: $18 USD to $19.50 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Description Resident Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: Provide direct care to residents according to their individualized plan of care. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility. Encourage resident independence and social interaction. Monitor residents’ physical and emotional well-being and report changes to supervisors. Maintain a safe, clean, and homelike environment. Support residents during meals, including set-up, assistance, and social engagement. Follow all safety, infection control, and privacy procedures. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members. Resident Assistant Qualifications and Skills: Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant or CNA program and current certification in states where required. Previous experience in senior care or healthcare preferred. Compassion, patience, and a resident-centered approach. Strong communication, observation, and time-management skills. Ability to perform physical tasks safely and provide support as needed.
