The healthcare organization is seeking a Surgical Technician specializing in Operating Room for a facility located in Hamilton, New York. This position involves supporting surgical teams during procedures in a busy operating room environment, primarily serving adult and geriatric patients with some pediatric cases. The role offers a dynamic clinical setting with a focus on patient safety and efficient surgical practices.
Job Details:
- Location: Hamilton, NY 13346
- Position: Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 07/27/2026
- Required Qualifications: Must be certified; minimum of 1 year of experience; education requirements as applicable; able to work within a 50-mile radius; experience with paper charting using Sorian for ordering.
- Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
- Additional Information: Must be available to start ASAP. Candidate will be supporting 4 operating rooms and 3 PACU bays, working in a hospital setting that predominantly serves adult, geriatrics, and some pediatric patients. Paper charting via Sorian system is required for ordering procedures. The position welcomes local candidates and adheres to a 50-mile radius rule.
