As a result, a full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to join our Building Engineering group as a Senior Electrical Engineer. This opportunity is available at our Sacramento, CA office location.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing
• Low and medium voltage power systems.
• Lighting systems and associated controls.
• Fire alarm and mass notification systems.
• Preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems.
• Developing probable construction costs.
• Providing construction administration and site visits.
• Mentoring less experienced engineers and designers.
• Serves as project manager and/or project engineer on complex electrical projects.

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have all the following:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
• At least 12 years of relevant electrical experience.
• PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states.

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

• 25 years or more of relevant experience as electrical engineer.
• Project manager experience with managing multiple projects/major project scopes or multi-discipline projects.
• Experience with developing market leads, pricing, estimating, and scoping for proposed projects.
• Experience with development of project budgeting, resource allocation, and project scheduling.
• Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systems.
• Preparing construction document drawings using Revit.
• Designing electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred).
• Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred).
• Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications.
• Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems.
• Experience or familiarity with generative AI-driven tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) to enhance productivity, automate tasks, and reduce errors.

Salary Range: $145,000 to $185,000 - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
