Eligibility for benefits may vary by location. Job Summary Under the general direction of the Cardiology Nurse Manager, coordinate and provide patient care in the Cardiology Department. Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs and EKG, and perform continual assessment during patient’s stay. Document accurate nursing records and patient data. Coordinate patient teaching and post‑procedure assessment. Perform emergency cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Assist with in‑service education. Collect and assemble data for database, outcome analysis and performance improvement. Carry out any activities assigned by the Cardiology Nurse Manager to ensure the department runs effectively and efficiently. Respond within 30 minutes when on stand‑by and assist at other system Cath labs as needed. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification. Basic Cardiac Life Support (RN) certification.
