About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11:00 - 23:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1-2 Years License: Licensure required to work as an RN in Virginia Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, PALS or ENPC Must-Have Skills/Experience: Emergency Room experience preferred. Description: This position is for a registered nurse in the emergency department. The facility is licensed for 220 beds and provides full-service acute care. The emergency department offers 24-hour services and supports a wide range of patient populations. Patient ratios are 1:5, and the electronic health record system in use is Medhost. Common diagnoses treated include chest pain, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and psychiatric emergencies. Candidates should possess a professional, positive, and compassionate demeanor. Team players who are comfortable working with all age groups are encouraged to apply. Dress code includes scrubs of any color, while casual wear is not acceptable.
