HP Retail Sales Representative

Overview Job Type: Regular Work Location: Best Buy 230 - Greenwood, IN 46142 Pay: $16.00 per hour Schedule: Up to 15 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday preferred. Flexible Friday options may be available based on location needs. About the Position: Assist in driving sales and creating buzz and excitement around HP brand and products in local big-box retailer(s). Demonstrate products to customers and tailor demonstrations to their ideal needs. Build rapport with customers and professional relationships with store management and employees. Train retail store associates on HP products and services. Maintain displays for cleanliness, functionality and demo-readiness. Report and provide competitive insights. Represent one of the most environmentally friendly companies worldwide. Responsibilities Sell products and services in a retail store, kiosk, and/or event environments. Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees. Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis. Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance. Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs. Advise customers by providing information on products and services. Help customers make selections by building customer confidence. Accurately document and report sales. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations. Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times. Responsible for submitting all paperwork completely and accurately. Maintaining regular and prompt attendance. Meet established monthly/weekly sales quota/goals. Maintain customer/client satisfaction based on rejection percentage and substantiated complaints. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience. Demonstrated knowledge of products and services. Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to maintain customer confidentiality. Problem-solver, tech-savvy enthusiast with outgoing personality. Comfortable engaging with customers and demonstrating products with training. Ability to engage in a selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs. Retail experience or customer service experience in electronics, tech or wireless a plus. Training or product demonstration experience a plus. 1-year job experience required.
