Student Success Advisor

to support students as they navigate their college journey. In this role, you will: Build strong, supportive relationships with students Help students develop decision-making skills Guide them toward achieving their academic goals LLCC is a positive, team-oriented environment supportive of staff development. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree

OR

extensive, relevant work experience

OR

an appropriate combination of education and experience. One year of work experience in education. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population. Ability to collaborate with appropriate stakeholders and solve problems. Detail orientation, strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and good time management skills. Knowledge of basic computer programs and Microsoft Office. Ability to work until 6pm at least one night a week; evening and weekend hours are common during peak times of the year. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel or related field. Experience in a community college setting.
