Join our team as a Pediatric Cardiac Step-Down Nurse in Silverdale, WA, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs who thrive in a fast-paced cardiac step-down setting and want to experience the Pacific Northwest's beautiful landscapes. You’ll be caring for post-cath patients, handling stable CABG cases, and managing various cardiac diagnoses—all while working with a dedicated team that values your skills. Unique to this role are the responsibilities of titrating drips like nitroglycerin and heparin, reading monitors, and interpreting strips, all in a specialized PCU environment that challenges and rewards. Plus, the unit’s collaborative approach and focus on patient stability keep the work engaging without the chaos of critical ICU demands.
