What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on review of records and clinical interviews
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members—including psychiatrists, medical staff, social workers, and security—to ensure integrated patient care
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
• Perform regular rounds in confined housing areas to assess mental health and treatment needs
• Provide crisis assessment, counseling, and interventions to address immediate mental health concerns
• Demonstrate expertise in counseling techniques tailored to correctional settings
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all facility protocols

What You Need

Required:

• Valid license/board eligibility (must be board eligible to qualify for privileges)
• Social Security card and driver’s license for facility clearance
• Experience with mental health assessments and intervention strategies

Preferred:

• Prior work in correctional or institutional settings
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments
