Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3x12, Nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with holiday rotation. Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive care to patients across various departments, including critical care units and labor and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and operations.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gas interpretations.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and neonatal care as needed.
• Participate in emergency response when necessary.
• Float as needed to support hospital units and ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of recent critical care experience is required.
• Must hold a South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license.
• National certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) must be current at the time of start.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
