Senior Program Officer, Education

The Foundation seeks a Senior Program Officer (“SPO”) who will lead and further develop COSF’s Education program, which supports organizations that optimize opportunities for youth from low-income backgrounds to live engaged and productive lives. The COSF Education program spans from early childhood through career success, supporting programs in Cook and Lake County, Illinois. The SPO will work closely with other members of the Foundation's staff and the Foundation’s Education Committee, a committee composed of members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. The Senior Program Officer will coordinate all aspects of the Foundation’s Education program, including review of grant applications, and development and implementation of new and current programs. The Senior Program Officer will represent the Foundation among stakeholders in this field. The Senior Program Officer will also develop, steward and champion networks and partnerships to further this work. The Senior Program Officer will report to the Foundation Vice President.
