Aria Administrator - Health Systems Informatics

Overview The Aria Administrator functions as an integral member of the Department of Radiation Oncology of the Medical Center. This role provides supportive services for all specialties within the Department of Radiation Oncology and is thoroughly familiar with Radiation Oncology workflows and the Aria software. The position involves administering the Aria application, developing and leading education for new staff and supportive services, coordinating with super users during upgrades, and reviewing workflows to identify opportunities for increased safety and efficiency. Position The Aria Administrator is a member of the Radiation Oncology team responsible for the development, coordination, and organization of Aria Electronic Medical Record system education. The role serves as the primary contributor and consultant for patient care services in the planning, design, development, implementation, functionality, and evaluation of the Aria system that supports clinical practice, administrative and management needs, and patient outcomes. It acts as the principal resource with clinical knowledge and computer expertise to coordinate and provide support for all new and current applications and software upgrades applicable to the clinical systems. The role includes analysis, design, testing and implementation of complex clinical information systems and solutions, prepares detailed specifications, and conducts assessments of the clinical environment to identify implications for system implementations. Responsibilities Administer the Aria application using vendor-provided tools; create and modify the software as required. Develop and lead education for new Radiation Oncology staff and supportive services upon hire. Collaborate with super users in each specialty during upgrades to ensure appropriate training of Aria users. Review workflows to identify opportunities for increased safety and/or efficiency. Advise end-user training on clinical applications to ensure understanding of functionality and to support the design of training programs. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. An advanced degree in a relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required; 4–8 years of relevant experience preferred.
