Safety Ambassador Lead

The Safety Ambassador Lead provides field leadership for autonomous delivery operations, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, incident readiness, and consistent execution of safety standards. The Lead serves as the primary field escalation resource and coach for Safety Ambassadors.

Lead, coach and support Safety Ambassadors in daily operations.

Ensure compliance with operational and safety procedures.

Coordinate daily deployment plans, staffing coverage and route execution.

Verify fleet, vehicle and equipment readiness.

Serve as escalation point for incidents and operational disruptions.

Conduct safety observations and reinforce best practices.

Support onboarding, training and certification activities.

Track operational performance metrics and reporting.

Drive process improvements and partner with operations and technical teams.

Communicate field updates, risks and resource needs to management.

Experience in field operations, logistics, transportation, robotics or safety-related environments.

Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.

Strong communication, coaching and conflict-resolution skills.

Experience supporting safety-sensitive operations.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
