Production Worker

Production WorkerTresco is seeking a dependable and motivated Production Worker to join our team in Las Cruces. The Production Worker is responsible for processing rental linens, uniforms, floor mats, and related products through various stages of an industrial laundry operation. This position helps ensure products are cleaned, inspected, sorted, repaired, folded, packaged, and prepared for customer delivery while maintaining quality standards, productivity goals, and workplace safety.Key ResponsibilitiesSort linens, uniforms, and rental products by type, color, customer, and processing requirements.Operate industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, conveyors, folders, presses, and other production machinery.Inspect garments and linens for stains, damage, missing items, and quality issues.Fold, package, and bundle clean products according to customer specifications.Assemble customer orders for delivery routes.Hang, scan, or prepare uniforms using automated garment systems.Perform basic quality-control inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.Report damaged equipment, production issues, and safety concerns to supervisors.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Follow production schedules and meet daily productivity goals.Comply with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures.Assist with inventory control and product handling as needed.Work cooperatively with team members to maintain an efficient workflow.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Previous manufacturing, warehouse, laundry, or production experience preferred.Experience operating industrial production or laundry equipment preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.Ability to meet production quotas while maintaining quality standards.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Reliable attendance and punctuality.Basic communication skills.Good organizational and time-management skills.Mechanical aptitude is a plus.Willingness to learn and perform multiple production functions.Flexibility to work in different production areas as needed.Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds.Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.Frequently bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements.Work around moving machinery while following all required safety procedures.Demonstrate manual dexterity to handle garments and linens efficiently.Work EnvironmentThe Production Worker will work in an industrial laundry facility that may involve:Exposure to heat, humidity, steam, and noise.Moving equipment, conveyors, and production machinery.A fast-paced production environment with established performance standards.Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Continuous standing and repetitive motion throughout the workday.Success in This RoleA successful Production Worker consistently meets productivity and quality goals while maintaining a safe work environment.
