Industrial Automation Engineer, PLC and Robotics (Meridian)

Short version: a Fortune 500 manufacturer's plant in Northeast Mississippi needs an experienced automation engineer. Siemens PLCs, FANUC robots, machining and assembly lines. A real pension. Relocation assistance.

Longer version:

You will

• Fix what breaks and improve what's slow on automated production lines
• Design PLC, robot and electrical changes that raise uptime
• Run new-equipment projects with suppliers, including budget and schedule
• Keep documentation to ISO standards
• Help train and mentor the team

You have

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 7+ years in automation, ideally in a plant
• Siemens PLC and TIA Portal experience
• Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated and ASI-Bus
• FANUC and Cognex vision, Atlas Copco tools (a strong plus)
• Ability to read and create electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics
