Maintenance Worker

Starting Rate: $17.67 an hourESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Will handle the daily operations of general maintenance dutiesWorking knowledge of commercial building repair & maintenance to include electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and carpentryMust have excellent customer service skillsMinor automotive repair to include tire repair, fueling and service of small engine equipmentProficiency in welding and fabrication is desiredFamiliarity of running motorized lifts and being able to work on scaffolding and ladders, above 20-ft if necessaryMust be safety consciousFlexible with working schedule and the ability to work over time if neededPerform snow removal duties, operation of snow plows, tractors, backhoe and street sweeper.JOB PREREQUISITES:Knowledge of cleaning fluidsAbove average oral communication skillsExcellent customer serviceProblem solving capabilityHigh capacity for learningThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee. Must have valid driver’s license.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is sometimes strenuous. Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods and frequently work on ladders and scaffolds, indoors and outdoors. May work in dusty, dirty, hot, or wet conditions, or in confined areas, or other uncomfortable places. Must follow strict safety procedures at all times to avoid injury. Moving/lifting up to 75 lbs. & climbing. Must have full range of motion. Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, kneel, Ability to work at heights 20 feet or aboveWORK ENVIRONMENT: We maintain an alcohol/drug-free workplace. Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and perform in casino operations containing smoke and second hand smoke with high noise level and bright lights. Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
