Position Summary We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonographer / Ultrasound Tech eager to join a burgeoning team dedicated to providing outstanding patient care. You will work with cutting-edge ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a cohesive group of clinicians, and offer reassurance to patients through precise imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Execute a broad range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures, explaining each part of the process with care and empathy
- Team up with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-quality diagnostic imagery
- Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
