Adjunct Faculty, Early Childhood Education Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, Early Childhood Education Position Status: Adjunct Base Pay: $821.00 per credit hour Job Description Summary: Adjunct Instructor, College of Education and Social Sciences, Department of Education, needed to teach courses in the areas of Early Childhood Education. Day time availability and personal transportation is required. Responsibilities Model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education. Model, teach and promote the unit standards for the Department of Education as a critical transformative educator, a multicultural educator and a social justice advocate. Teach one or more classes in the Department of Education at any one of the Lewis university sites. Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary. Minimum Qualifications Terminal degree preferred, master’s degree considered. Illinois Professional Educator’s License – Early Childhood Grade Levels. Previous teaching experience in specific subject matter or credential in the area of subject matter applied for. Experienced in using technologies such as Learning Management Systems (Blackboard).
