We're looking for a creative Short-Form Video Editor to transform long-form podcast recordings into engaging Instagram Reels that capture attention and drive engagement. Responsibilities Turn 60‑minute podcast recordings into engaging Instagram Reels and short‑form videos. Identify the strongest 30–60 second moments and craft compelling hooks that capture attention immediately. Edit talking‑head videos, founder updates, behind‑the‑scenes content, and business‑focused clips. Create clean, readable captions with burned‑in subtitles optimized for mobile viewing. Deliver polished vertical videos that feel native to Instagram. Identify standalone clips with high engagement potential from longer recordings. Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style. Proven experience editing short‑form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts. Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention. Excellent judgment in selecting compelling moments from long‑form content. Experience editing founder, business, podcast, or operator‑style content. Proficiency in one or more of the following: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Descript, and Adobe After Effects. Strong caption design skills with attention to readability and visual hierarchy. Ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines. Able to work in PST business hours.
