We are actively looking for qualified professionals who will help execute the company's future growth strategy.POSITION SUMMARY:The Residential Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for general plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.RESPONSIBILITIES:Minimum of 2-4 years of maintenance experience.Working knowledge and can perform professional levels of maintenance services, such as plumbing, electrical, appliances, heating and air-conditioning, and general construction.Ability to use simple tools, such as paint brushes, rollers, spray equipment, ladders, solvents, cleaners, tape, and coverings, as well as power tools, such as snakes, jack hammers, electrical test devices, grinders, drills, saws, and motor/electrical vehicles.Good communication skills both, verbal and written.Passion for helping others.Flexible with your schedule and able to participate in an on-call rotation.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in apartment maintenance or equivalent.Able to handle tools and power equipment, such as drills, saws, grinders, electrical testers, HVAC systems, and plumbing tools. including proficiency in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentryEPA Section 608 Certified HVAC Technician and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred, demonstrating technical expertise in property systems and amenities management.Strong troubleshooting abilities to quickly assess and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with residents, team members, and vendors effectively.A passion for delivering exceptional service to residents and creating a positive living experience.Willingness to work a flexible schedule and participate in an on-call rotation to handle apartment maintenance emergencies.PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 10 lbsFrequent sitting and occasional standing, walking, reachingNoise level may be moderate to high at timesBENEFITS/PERKS:Hourly wage based on relevant experience to the role.
