JOB SUMMARY:

The Welder Trainee is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product; weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines. The Welder will also weld/rework various products and perform different weld techniques including flat, vertical, overhead positions, and rework raw and/or finished products.

• Operate and overhead crane to maneuver parts safely into place.
• Adjust welding components using hand tools, torch, or welding equipment.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Accurately operate and read measuring devices.
• Assemble and weld various metals parts together.
• Properly position material/parts to be welded.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Eager to learn.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in manufacturing environment.
