The Financial Analyst, FP&A works under general supervision and relies on limited experience and direction to perform duties.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports summarizing key performance indicators and profitability at the practice group, office, and attorney levelSupport the financial managers in design and preparation of the monthly financial reporting package; participate in monthly review calls with senior management and address follow-upsConfigure specifications to accurately and efficiently extract data from the Firm’s financial reporting softwareTroubleshoot, investigate and resolve inquiries related to financial matters; collaborate with other analysts within team and cross-functionally to resolve issuesPerform ongoing audits of financial system data to ensure data accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standard operating proceduresAssist with the annual budgeting process and the analysis of lateral hiresSupport the maintenance of the Firm’s financial software and reporting toolsAssist with quarterly and annual bank surveysJob Specifications:Bachelor’s degree1-3 years of finance, accounting or consulting experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)Familiarity with financial reporting softwareStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong mathematical and analytical skillsAbility to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilitiesAbility to handle and maintain confidential informationAbility to learn new concepts and skills quicklyAbility to work collaboratively on a teamSuccessful candidates will be provided with outstanding career opportunities and will receive a competitive total rewards package with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses. Target Hiring Range $83,000 - $115,000Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWS provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work.
