Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist with Arrowhead PT Services, you will:

• Direct and implement individualized physical therapy treatments to prevent disability, relieve pain, enhance muscle function, and promote independence.
• Evaluate clients' functional capabilities through comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic and prognostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional tests.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans, collaborating closely with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Design and oversee therapeutic exercise programs, instructing and motivating clients to attain optimal outcomes.
• Administer physical therapy modalities, including manual therapies and treatments utilizing physical agents.
• Evaluate and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices, providing essential modifications as needed.
• Document and maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Guide and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring compliance with state regulations and implementing best practices throughout treatment.
• Provide training and education sessions to clients and families regarding the use and care of physical therapy devices and the overall therapy program.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will support a diverse range of patients within our Rehabilitation Center, focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. By evaluating home environments, you will also make recommendations to enhance patient independence and quality of life. The role requires a compassionate approach to care, with an emphasis on family involvement and education.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey, in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills to engage effectively with patients and their families.
• A commitment to clinical excellence, integrity, and continuous professional development.
• The ability to design innovative treatment programs and collaboratively contribute to patient care goals.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who possess:

• At least one (1) year of experience as a Physical Therapist, ideally in acute care or home care settings.
• Proficiency in relevant federal and state regulations as they pertain to physical therapy practices.

Compensation and Benefits

Arrowhead PT Services offers a competitive annual salary range of $100,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
